It is a word of English origin that means "gentleman" or "kind man". It refers to the man who possesses irreproachable conduct, endowed with great education, courtesy, gentle and noble.

But like most words, Gentleman can also be translated another way, depending on the context. This is the case when we refer to a lord. For example:

Tracing a historical panorama, initially this English term gave meaning to a man belonging to the lowest class of the nobility. After that, this word came to be designated to a man who was part of a high position in society.
