Sisu 2022: Check the dates, rules and functioning of the system

The Single Selection System (Sisu) is the program used by the government to offer vacancies in public universities in Brazil. For the classification of these candidates, Sisu accepts as a criterion only the previous year's Enem score.

In addition, Sisu opens enrollment regularly twice a year, offering vacancies for the first semester and then for the second. Thus, registration for the first half of 2022 already has a set date: from February 15th.

Prerequisites to register

Entering a public higher education institution through Sisu involves a particular selection criterion. Therefore, it is necessary for candidates to be aware of the rules before the test, as Sisu will only accept:

• Candidates who took the last Enem test;
• Those who did not complete the Enem writing test;
• Candidates who did not participate in the Enem test in the trainer modality.

Therefore, if you meet these requirements, wait until February 15th, when you can register through the Sisu website. And remember that to access it, you must have created a password and login to gov.br.

Sisu Calendar 2022

The official calendar of SISU was published on January 18 in the Official Gazette of the Union and can be read in full in this public notice. Thus, for registration for the first semester of 2022, the dates for registration, results and waiting list have already been defined.

• Registrations: February 15th to 18th via the Sisu website;
• Result of the regular call: February 22nd;
• Enrollment of those approved in the regular call: February 23rd to 28th;
• Waitlist registrations: February 22nd to 28th.
