According to Brazilian blogger Lo Bianco (via MacMagazine), Murilo Benício ordered a 44mm Apple Watch Series 6 online from retailer Carrefour. His order arrived after 12 long days, but even after that long, he still didn't get the Apple Watch. After waiting for more than 12 days, he received a stone in the Apple Watch packaging.
The report reveals that the actor paid around R$3,000 for the Apple Watch 6. However, when he opened the box, he was in shock to find a rock instead of the Apple Watch. The worst was when Benício tried to contact the company about it. Carrefour refused to help the actor, as he complained seven days after receiving the stone. Subsequently, the Brazilian actor sued the company, reported 9To5Mac.
The 9to5Mac report later revealed that the actor made a deal with the company and Carrefour agreed to pay him around R$6,000.
On a related note, Apple Watch 6 which was released last year was discontinued after Apple released Apple Watch 7 in the market. The current lineup of Apple Watches includes Apple Watch Series 7, Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Series 3.
