The Federal University of Goiás will hold the 1st Hackathon – Innovations for UFG. It is a multidisciplinary, collaborative and innovative programming marathon in which teams compete with each other, developing solutions that meet the institution's needs.
The initiative is from the Dean of Research and Innovation and developed through the Entrepreneurship Center and Incubação da UFG, a program aimed at entrepreneurship training and the development of innovative businesses.

The opportunity is aimed at students related to programming, design and leadership in different areas of knowledge, whether undergraduate or graduate at UFG.
The objective is to develop innovative solutions for teaching and management in education at UFG.
To do so, it is necessary to pay attention to issues such as medium and long-term planning, setting goals, performance indicators, strategic management of human, structural and economic resources, occupation of time and physical space.
At the end, the best solutions will win prizes of up to R$5,000.00, followed by R$3,000 for second place and R$2,000 for third.
To the subscriptions are completely free and must be done by electronic form on the website of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Incubation (CEI). They are open until next Tuesday (04/06).
From the registrations, 80 participants will be selected, which will be announced on the 14th.
The marathon itself will start on the 28th and should continue with a schedule until the 30th.
On the 28th, each student will individually defend their idea, and the best ones will be chosen by voting among the participants. Then the teams will be formed by the facilitators.
The 29th and 30th will have phases of programming, design, validation and selection of winners.
Each team must present its solution to a panel of UFG specialists. The three teams that best score, according to the criteria of functionality, effectiveness, feasibility and creativity, will be the winners.
The event will be held at the Centro de Aulas D da UFG, 1199, 1ª Avenida, 815, Setor Leste Universitário in Goiânia.
