O Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS) is offering a free online english course in the Distance Learning modality (EAD). To access the course, basic knowledge of IT and Portuguese is required.
English is one of the most spoken languages in the world, which is why it is usually learned as a second language, in addition to being in great demand in the job market. In the EAD modality, learning English can be much easier, with the convenience of attending classes anytime, anywhere.

The English course offered by IFRS is divided into two parts. In the first, the student will learn: Identification and personal characterization; Location in time and space; Means of transport; Family; Routine and habits at home.
In part 2, the themes of the virtual classes are: Routine and habits in the academic environment; Food – Supermarket List; Clothing; Climate; Leisure activities and sports; Housing – Permissions.
Both parts last 30 hours. Registration goes until June 30th, with completion until 07/31/2019. Upon completion of the course, the student will receive a certificate.
Founded in 2008, IFRS is part of the Federal Network of Professional, Scientific and Technological Education. In its creation, the IFRS was structured from the union between the Federal Center of Technological Education (Cefet) of Bento Gonçalves, the Federal Agrotechnical School of Sertão and the Federal Technical School of Canoes.
