People who illicitly received emergency aid will be charged by the government
Decree that determines the indemnity to the Union referring to the resources of the Emergency Assistance benefit gained illegally or by error in granting, maintaining or revising the benefit.
Those who received the aid in an improper way may be notified electronically, by mail, in person or by public notice for the return of the amounts.
The amount will only be charged for individuals who received and earn an income greater than one minimum wage, or have a family income greater than three minimum wages.

The refund process will be in cash or in up to 60 monthly installments. In order to pay in installments, the individual will be required to confess the amount to be indemnified, waive the filing of appeals, withdraw what was filed.
Attention! According to the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic, if three consecutive installments are not paid, there will be cancellation of the installment, making the individual default, in addition to the possibility of a judicial charge being made if he does not return to pay properly.
If there is disagreement regarding the charge, the beneficiary may appeal within 60 days after notification, if there is no legal concession, he will have a period of 30 days for appeal.
