In its disclosure announcement, the manufacturer revealed that to produce the new tire, 17 components are used, of which 12 differ from common tires. Black carbon, sunflower oil, pine resin, natural rubber to replace petroleum, polyester and silica (obtained from rice husks) are some of the ingredients.

Now, the goal is to develop tires that are 100% biodegradable.
