O L'Oréal Brandstorm, a university competition focused on projects for sustainability, registration is open until April 13th. Opportunities are for Brazilian university students who have projects aimed at reducing the use of plastic in the beauty and cosmetics industries.
Entries must be made in groups of three people. The victorious group in the national phase will represent Brazil in the global final, which will take place on June 23 and 24 in Paris, France.

Winners will have the chance to develop their idea over three months at Station F in Paris, all expenses paid. Station F, located in the center of the French capital, is considered the largest incubator of startupsof the world.
The group that is in the first place will have the chance to participate in the One Young World Summit 2020. The meeting, held every year, is a global forum with the public of young leadership profiles who share ideas in search of solutions to problems such as inequality and crisis weather.
The event will take place between October 14th and 17th, in Munich, and L'Oréal will have full rights to the intellectual properties produced by the components.
In addition, according to the announcement, if one of the participants cannot be present due to reasons of greater order, such as due to study, travel visa or health, he will be awarded instead a prize of €10.000. Now if there are two of the team that present limitations, the three will receive the amount of money instead of the participation.
Applications for L’Oréal Brandstorm must be made online, at contest website. To participate, the requirements are: to be over 18 years old and to be enrolled in an undergraduate course in Brazil, in addition to of not being able to have professional experience of more than two years (internships, apprenticeships and summer programs are not count).
Another requirement upon registration is that the groups send a presentation containing three slides and a video defending their idea, lasting three minutes.
The content must be in English and, from it, the six best groups will be chosen for the Brazilian final, which will be held on May 14, in Rio de Janeiro. On the occasion, the trio that will represent the country in the final will be selected.
