Having this thought as a motivator and still with the intention of promoting reading in his country, the young Romanian Victor Miron had a rather curious idea: not to charge a bus ticket for people who enter the vehicle with a book in hands.
The proposal was presented to the mayor of his city, Emil Boc, who a year later accepted the initiative. The campaign ran for a week, more precisely between June 4th and 7th, 2015, during which time everyone who had a book used public transport for free.
His idea generated wide repercussions on the internet and earned him a lot of praise. Currently, Victor is working on other campaigns that are also aimed at encouraging reading, one of which is refers to Bookface, whose proposal is to offer benefits to people who have a picture of a book in their profile on Facebook.
