The scholarship offered can cover up to 95% of the costs, reaching almost R$ 220,000 per candidate. The investment offers financial aid to cover the payment of the course and expenses related to studies, such as housing, transportation, food and books.
Tech Fellow offers grants for broadband (Major), dual track (Double Major), track in secondary area (Minor) and exchanges lasting more than two months. In addition, fellows have the opportunity to be mentored and guided by founders of startups, big techs and professionals who are reference in technology.
They also have access to exclusive courses and events, career support, individual and personalized support to leverage their projects and accelerate your professional life, support the creation of projects and connection with potential investors, as well as connection with opportunities in the Marketplace.
Programs such as the Tech Fellow are of fundamental importance to train qualified labor for the technology sector. By the way, it is worth mentioning that this is one of the fastest growing sectors and who most need qualified professionals.
According to the Brazilian Association of Information and Communication Technology and Digital Technologies Companies, the Brasscom, 797,000 new jobs will be created in the tech sector by 2025, but 532,000 will not be replaced due to lack of professionals.
