R$ 100 million will be made available for institutions to present projects that encourage this theme in school benches.

Networks of institutions involving schools, universities, science centers and spaces for scientific development and innovation may compete for these resources.
The funds will be distributed in different scales of projects, such as state (R$ 4 million), interstate (R$ 10 million) and regional (R$ 20 million).
The ministries announced other projects within the program. The folders will expand the National Science Olympiad. The planned investment is R$ 1 million.
The goal is to expand the scope of the competition and reach 1 million students from different states. Among the measures is also foreseen a public call to allocate resources to researchers with studies related to the theme.
The focus will be on teaching subjects in the final years of elementary and high school. The objective is to disseminate scientific practice and bring universities, scientific and technological institutions and public schools closer together.
The ministries will implement a platform called “Science is 10”. It is aimed at qualifying teachers in subjects related to the area.
Teachers will be able to do distance specialization in science teaching. In addition, another platform was developed by the National Research Network to facilitate the monitoring of the actions of the program as a whole.
On his Twitter account, President Jair Bolsonaro posted a message today (19) about the program. According to him, one of the goals is to encourage the training of young people in “forgotten areas”.
