Mrs Allice's beautiful story of overcoming difficulties is built on a history of her father's prohibitions on her studies. Therefore, she could not learn to read and write when she was little. Later, her husband also did not allow her to study, but as this was always her dream, Mrs. Allice never gave up.
Her father's and her husband's allegations were that, as a woman, Allice did not need to study and, yes, take care of the house and family.
However, at the age of 59 she decided to return to the classroom and, today, among her classmates who are around 20 years old, the elderly woman stands out for her drive and determination.
Miss Allice never gave up on her strongest desire, to learn to read and study. From a young age, she struggled and taught herself to read and write. The Bible was her main teaching material. With the help of a pencil and notebook, she wrote the words she found in the Bible until she was able to learn them and create her first sentences. However, her trajectory in studies was limited to that for a long time, due to her husband's resistance.
Many years later, after the death of her husband, her great dream of studying was able to reappear as her biggest goal. During this period, Allice moved from the capital of São Paulo to her hometown, Catanduva, and finished the basic cycle of education through the Youth and Adult Education System (EJA).
Since then, she has never put her studies aside, following her academic career. In addition, she also dedicated herself to learning how to speak in public and attended guitar, accounting and basic computer classes.
After the end of the supplementary course for finishing high school, the elderly woman decided to enroll in the Engineering course of Production when he saw an advertisement for a private college in the city that was offering a scholarship for the course. Allice didn't think twice and decided to take the entrance exam and compete for that dream.
In 2018, she entered college and never gave up, facing all barriers and overcoming each one. of them, without missing a day of class, as one of the most diligent students in the class and much loved by students.
Even though she encounters difficulties, Mrs. Allice clears all her doubts with teachers and dreams of entering the job market.
