The former Colégio Estadual do Setor Palmito, in Goiânia, is now CEPMG do Setor Palmito, another Military Police school that becomes part of the state public network. Its inauguration took place this Thursday (16/02).
With a total of 1,258 students in the morning, afternoon and evening shifts, distributed in Elementary School II and High School, the teaching institution delivered sets of uniforms and school material kits at the ceremony of Opening. Additionally, chromebooks were distributed to 3rd grade high school classes.

To equip state Military Police schools, the Government of Goiás invested BRL 45 million in the acquisition of a set of uniform that includes two pants or two skirts, two shirts, two pairs of black socks, a pair of dress shoes, a belt and a pout. The Physical Education kit consists of two sleeveless shirts, two pants, 1 short or skirt/short, 2 pairs of white socks and a pair of sneakers.
For the acquisition of all school materials, a total of R$ 23.6 million was invested. Each kit to be distributed to students contains university notebooks, pocket calculator, black ballpoint pens, blue and red glue, white glue, set squares, ruler, protractor, colored and graphite pencils, sharpeners and erasers school. The number of items present in the kits varies according to the teaching stage in which the student is enrolled.
The CEPMG of the Palmito Sector is the second unit of the Military Police inaugurated this year, increasing the state education network to 67 CEPMGs. The first opening took place on January 18 in Mineiros, a city located in the southwest of Goiás, with the presence of vice-governor Daniel Vilela, who participated in the opening of the school year and inaugurated CEPMG Professor Alice Pereira Alves.
