As of the next 28th, Cooperativa Unijazz Brasil will continue the Transformando Sonhos project, which aims to provide free music for children and teenagers from underprivileged communities in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro, aged between 10 and 18 years.
In 2018, the Transformando Sonhos project was launched, but ended up being interrupted in 2020 because of the pandemic. Now, in 2021, the project restarts in a new community: Jardim Catarina, located in the municipality of São Gonçalo.

Guitar, percussion, recorder, melodica and singing are some of the free courses that will be offered again in the communities of Chatuba, Mesquita, Cidade de Deus, Jacarepaguá and Pilares.
160 vacancies are open for participation in the project that will work in four poles of Cooperativa Unijazz Brasil, in associations of residents and churches. Classes, with a class of 40 students, will take place weekly until the end of the year and the registration form can be requested via Whatsapp number (21) 97194-6759.
The cooperative's goal for 2024 is to expand the project to new communities, in addition to establishing partnerships to raise funds and thus finance the study materials for the students and remunerate the teachers.
