The National Exam for Certification of Youth and Adult Skills (Encceja) is an assessment carried out by the National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (inep).
That test aims to allow young people and adults to obtain certification of completion of primary or secondary education.

For elementary school, it is necessary to achieve the minimum score in all tests. For high school, in addition to reaching the required score in the objective tests, the candidate needs a minimum grade in the essay.

In Encceja, it is necessary to reach a score equal to or above 5 points in the essay. Candidates must also achieve 100 points in each of the four objective tests, totaling 400 points in the areas of:
Natural Sciences and its Technologies;
Mathematics and its Technologies;
Languages, Codes and their Technologies;
Human Sciences and their Technologies.
The objective tests consist of 30 multiple-choice questions. Writing requires participants to develop an argumentative text on a proposed topic, demonstrating writing and argumentation skills.

Portuguese language;
Foreign language;
Essay;
History;
Geography;
Physical education.
