A University of São Paulo (USP), provides a collection of historical documents, manuscripts, images and yet three thousand (3000) rare books that are part of the collection donated to the university, available at the Brasiliana Guita and José Mindlin Library.
On the BBM website, the navigator can view and download more than 3000 books that are available for public consultation, that is, without cost or illegality. All content is free for any citizen.

The Library has approximately 17,000 titles, all the result of donations. The Mindlin family donated the collection accumulated over more than eighty years by the bibliophile José Mindlin and his wife Guita; part of this collection belonged to the bibliophile Rubens Borba de Moraes, and was in the possession of José and Guita Mindlin.
The objective of the collection digitization project is to guarantee public access to all scientific information under its guardianship.
All works made available through the Brasiliana Digital website provide the user with notifications of rules of use, such as obligation to cite the sources when using the material or even the prohibition of commercial use of books, manuscripts, maps, etc. obtained through it.
When accessing the portal, the user will be able to find since Century Manuscripts. XVI until works by Euclides da Cunha and Machado de Assis. Everything was organized by title, author, subject or publication date.
