Celebrating 60 years in Brazil, BIC will reinforce its Education platform. The company, which is leader in the stationery category, will promote the production of educational content using YouTube, and an exclusive sponsorship of the “BIC – Talentos que Educam” project.
The project, launched on the 29th, was developed by ProjectHub and aims to encourage partnerships between teachers, educators and producers of audiovisual content. All of this so that student access to educational and socio-cultural content, through technology, is aggregated.

Youth and Adult Education (EJA) is once again a federal priority
Three works will be awarded that offer an approach to themes related to human subjects, with a focus on the entrance exam and the National High School Examination (Enem). The prize, in the amount of R$ 50,000 for each educator, must be for the production of 10 short films of up to 5 minutes each. The films will be produced with the support of renowned YouTubers. BIC will further expand the reach of video views with additional leverage investments.
The company's Marketing director, Emerson Cação, spoke about the 'Talents that teach': "The project allows more education throughout Brazil, in a democratic way, and encourage the independent production of educators from different areas. Participating in and sponsoring this initiative was a natural process for BIC®, as we increasingly want to collaborate with education in the country”.
Those interested in participating in the contest must produce a video of no more than 3 minutes. The product must have important educational cultural content within the three proposed themes. They are: Geography + Literature, History + Technology or Music + Languages. Each participant can only send one video.
Entries started on April 29th and ended on June 19th. A judging committee made up of seven curators who are specialists in the field of audiovisual education or entertainment aimed at young people will decide the winners of the contest. The result comes out on July 7th.
The initiative has the support of Instituto Inspirare and Escola Digital, a search platform for digital resources that helps teachers and students.
