The value of the scholarships can vary from 14 thousand Canadian dollars to up to 26 thousand Canadian dollars, which is approximately R$57,000 to R$105,000, according to the currency exchange rate last Friday, June 24th, at R$ 4,07. Health insurance is also included in the scholarships. In total, the amount invested by Quebec in the program is 700,000 Canadian dollars, an amount that is enough to offer around 30 scholarships per year.
In order to apply, applicants must be over 18 years old, live outside of Canada before the professional training program began, and have no other types of scholarships. In addition, it is necessary to prove that you have about 3,000 Canadian dollars, approximately R$ 12 thousand.
