Learn how to make potato chips directly in the AirFryer in an easy way

The AirFryer is one of the newest acquisitions in the homes of many Brazilians, the ease of using it to prepare food without the help of oil is what draws attention.

Preparing the potato chips

This recipe is for everyone who doesn't have time in the kitchen or just wants a food without adding too much oil.

In addition to having few ingredients, it is very easy to make, check it out:

Necessary ingredients:

  • 2 large potatoes;
  • Olive oil;
  • 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt.

First of all, you must turn on the AirFryer to heat it up, around 160ºC.

Then, with a peeler, remove the skin from the potato, and then cut the potatoes into thin pieces.

Place the cut pieces in a large container and add ice water until the whole potato is covered.

Let the potatoes soak for around 15 minutes, after that, remove the potatoes, remove excess water with the help of a paper towel.


Once dry, sprinkle the sea salt over the potatoes and return them to the water to soak for another 15 minutes.

After the last 15 minutes, remove the potatoes and dry them again and set them aside.

With the AirFryer shape, separate a good amount of potatoes that were separated, and unite them with olive oil and place to bake.

Cook the potato chips until golden and crispy, it should take around 18 minutes, within that time check and turn the chips every 7 minutes. And with that, it's ready to serve!

Potato chips make a good combination with many types of sauce, and can be used as a substitute for Doritos in Guacamole.
