Linkedin opens 82 free courses on its educational platform

Specialization, professional improvement, curriculum enrichment or extracurricular hours. Regardless of the reason, the search for online courses in the distance learning modality (EaD) grows exponentially, showing the growing interest in different areas of knowledge.

Accompanying this trend, Linkedin, a social network focused on networking, expanded its activities to improve professional skills through the Linkedin Learning platform. Created in 2016, the system offers 82 free courses taught in Portuguese.

The courses cover different areas of knowledge and do not require specific training prerequisites. However, only registered users on the social network have access to them. From then on, future students have access to options with varied topics and workloads for career improvement.

Among the many possibilities are How to Communicate with Confidence; Innovative Techniques for Customer Service; Leadership with Emotional Intelligence; The Power of Coaching in Employee Development; Strategic Negotiation and Office package tools.

The initiative aims to enable professional specialization and updating. One of the advantages is that, as soon as the student completes the course, the certificate is linked to the professional profile registered on the social network. That is, the new skills will be immediately visible to those who access the information.

How to participate

The courses offered by Linkedin Learning are accessible only to registered users on the social network. Those who have the free account have access to the courses for 30 days. However, Premium account profiles have the advantage of taking full advantage of the resources.

When accessing the platform, the student has the possibility to choose between the monthly or annual plans. For both, you can go through the free 30-day trial period. By choosing the preferred course, the student will be able to save the contents already accessed, in addition to following his/her learning history.
