The test is available on the Inep portal, with an interface similar to that used in the Enem video test. Therefore, deaf participants will be better prepared. The functionality, inaugurated in September for the 2017 test, allows you to watch the video of the questions and check the answer sheets, if the participant so desires. Since the 14th of November, the videos are also available on Youtube.
The video test in Libras began to be offered in 2017 and took the theme “Challenges for the educational training of the deaf in Brazil” to the newsroom. This year, Inep launched the Enem seal in Libras for all content available in Brazilian Sign Language, which reinforces the Institute's Accessibility and Inclusion Policy.
“The Enem in Libras marks the Institute's effort to ensure that its announcements, tests, booklets, campaigns and other materials, of all its exams and assessments, are accessible. In this way, Inep reaffirms its commitment to the deaf community and to a better future through education”, says the autarchy.
The Enem was applied this year on the 4th and 11th of November. The test is used to select vacancies in higher education through the Unified Selection System (Sisu), scholarships in higher education private higher education through the University for All Program (ProUni) and vacancies in the Student Financing Fund (Fies).
