Data released in November 2017 by Unicef indicate that, every seven minutes, a child or adolescent dies as a result of violence. In the same report, the organization points out that, in 2015 alone, more than 82,000 boys and girls 10 and 19 year olds were killed due to armed conflict or collective violence in Latin America and the Caribbean.
