Floating cranes are vessels made for handling large loads, and the biggest floating crane belongs to Hyundai Heavy and can lift up to 10,000 tons. This is the Hyundai-10000, a semi-submersible floating crane that managed to lift an offshore installation of 9,100 tons, which is equivalent to 6,200 cars. It is currently located in South Korea.

Hyundai Heavy officials attribute the decrease in construction time at its shipyard in Ulsan to the hiring of the Hyundai-10000 floating crane.
This is the largest shearleg-style crane and is designed to hold objects in the air. In addition, it has a water expulsion system as a precaution when at sea. While not the only floating crane model in existence, the Hyundai-1000 is the largest in its semi-submersible category.
The company announced in 2021 that the Hyundai-1000 had lifted 9,100 tons at the Uslan shipyard, 414 kilometers from Seoul. This displaced the “Goliath”, which lifted 1,600 tons, thus becoming the company's new reference model.
There are several types of cranes for different constructions, and they are all capable of lifting enormous weights. However, depending on their type, they can also move, dig and destroy, but one thing is certain: they make human work easier.
Gantry cranes are capable of carrying very large loads and their use is quite common to salvage ships. However, it also helps in offshore construction, in addition to ports and bridges.
Among gantry cranes there are also two categories. The first is lifting cranes, which can operate remotely and have stacking equipment and devices, being widely used in warehouses. In addition, we also have truck-type cranes, which are famous for their vehicle-like design.
All these cranes are a collection of simple machines, which together are capable of lifting exorbitant weights, which no human being would be able to carry.
