Legal professionals and other users who frequently need to reference specific sections in documents will now be able to rely on this feature native to Google Docs.
Line numbering is often a necessity in large documents, and this addition will make the process more efficient and convenient.
To enable line numbers, simply make sure your document is set to paginated mode by going to “File” and selecting “Page Setup” and then “Pages”.
Once configured, go to "Tools", select "Line Numbers" and choose "Show Line Numbers". Ready! Line numbers will be automatically assigned, making it easy to navigate and reference throughout your document.
