General alert for residents of the southern region of Brazil! The weather forecast from the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) pointed to the formation of extratropical cyclone in the next days.
According to the organ, the cyclone will form on the coast of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina between Tuesday, 11th, and Wednesday, 12th of July.

O Hurricane the intensity of rains and winds will increase. Inmet estimates that the bursts can reach 80 km/h.
This should cause certain inconveniences to the population, such as falling trees, lack of light, landslides, flooding and roofing. Gauchos and people from Santa Catarina must be prepared.
This does not mean that other regions of the country will be immune to the phenomenon. The cyclone will also advance over the Southeast region, bringing a cold front to its states. Federations in the Midwest region and part of the Amazon must also prepare.
Also according to Inmet, residents of Mato Grosso, Rondônia, Acre, Goiás, São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro can start taking their coats out of the closet.
North region
According to the Inmet weather forecast, between July 11 and 17, rainfall may exceed 50 mm in the extreme north of the region. However, the northwest of Amazonas and some parts of Rondônia, Acre and Tocantins will experience days of dry weather.
Northeast Region
In the far north of Maranhão, the forecast is for low accumulated rainfall. However, on the east coast (Sergipe, Alagoas and northeast Bahia), the weather will be unstable. There will be the possibility of water throughout the week, due to the humidity of the sea.
In other areas of Maranhão, Piauí and Bahia, the forecast is for dry weather throughout the week. Get your air humidifiers ready.
Midwest and Southeast Region
In addition to the already mentioned consequences of the advance of the extratropical cyclone, these regions will continue to experience dry and stable weather.
There is not the slightest chance (so far) of rain. Just an increase in cloudiness. Increased attention to health: the moisture relative air will be below 30%.
South region
As said, the extratropical cyclone from July 12 will lead to violent showers in parts of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul.
Part of Paraná will also have rain – which may exceed 80 mm. The north of that state, however, will experience a week of dry weather without rain.
