Caixa Econômica Federal releases a series of benefits and credit to millions of Brazilians. Among them, a quick loan of up to BRL 4,500 through the app box has or at any branch of the bank. In this case, both individuals and Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEI) may request it, but the amounts, requirements and payment terms may vary.

Known as the Digital Microcredit Simplification Program for Entrepreneurs (SIM DIGITAL), it has with the objective of stimulating the creation and development of small businesses, in addition to heating up the economy of the country. Through it, micro-entrepreneurs can make improvements to their businesses, such as remodeling and hiring new employees, or simply paying off some debts. In the case of individuals, the amounts can be spent for any purpose.
For MEIs, it is already possible to apply for the new quick loan from Caixa to expand or start your business, but always remembering that the amount can only be applied to it. In this case, they receive interest of up to 1.99% and must apply directly to the bank's branches. As for individuals, it is necessary to make a request through the Caixa Tem application, where they will be subject to interest from 1.95% per month and a period of up to 24 months for discharge.
In the beginning, the credit launched by the federal government released amounts of up to R$ 1 thousand for individuals and R$ 3 thousand for MEIs. now a provisional measure establishes a new modality, approved in the Chamber of Deputies, which increases the limit of the amounts offered to up to R$ 1.5 thousand for individuals and R$ 4.5 thousand for MEIs. However, the text still needs to be approved by the Senate, and then sanctioned by the president.
Therefore, it is necessary to wait for the entire process to be ratified, in order to be able to apply for Caixa credit. For now, they are still limited to old values and interest rates.
