Withdrawal of FGTS: Caixa releases up to R$ 1,000 for those with a retained balance

A new group is able to receive the values ​​of the extraordinary FGTS withdrawal. Caixa Econômica Federal started to make available the amount of up to R$ 1 thousand to workers with a balance held in active and inactive accounts linked to the fund this Saturday, 14. In this round, those born in May receive.

Information about the FGTS Extraordinary Withdrawal

Instituted by Provisional Measure 1,105/22, the extraordinary withdrawal of the FGTS will only occur once, considering the available balance on the date of debit in the fund account. Withdrawals are authorized with a limit of up to R$ 1,000 per worker.

If the holder has more than one FGTS account, withdrawals are made in the following order:

• First, accounts referring to expired employment contracts, starting with the account with the lowest balance;
• Second, from remaining accounts, starting with the account with the lowest balance.

Bearing in mind that amounts blocked in the FGTS account, such as those used to guarantee early birthday withdrawal credit operations, for example, will not be available for withdrawal.

May birthdays are the youngest guests to receive amounts from this FGTS withdrawal. The allowance of R$ 1 thousand has been paid since the end of April for each worker and should affect more than 42 million Brazilians.

Payment order is determined by birthday month. When a citizen receives a benefit, he is immediately authorized to withdraw it, which can be done in person at Caixa or at lottery outlets.

• At the ATM, press the “Entra” option on the keyboard;
• Then, choose the “Extraordinary FGTS Withdrawal” option.
• Enter your CPF and click on the “Confirm” option.
• Enter the six digits of the code that was generated in the Caixa Tem application and confirm your action;
• Select a withdrawal amount and press the “Enter” button;
• Finally, wait for the release of the money.
