Watermelon is rich in citrulline, a non-protein amino acid that boosts the formation of other amino acids. In addition, it maintains the kidneys and helps them expel any accumulated ammonia in the body.

Ingredients

  • 1 liter of water at the temperature you prefer;
  • 1 piece of watermelon cut into cubes;
  • Half a lemon cut into slices;
  • Fresh mint leaves.

Method of preparation

To prepare the beneficial watermelon and lemon detox water, start by cutting a part of the watermelon into cubes. Then move on to the lemon, cut it into two bands, choose one of them and cut it into slices. Then, combine all the ingredients in a jar or bottle.

After this process, crush some mint leaves and place them together with the rest of the elements. Once this is done, add water until the chosen container is filled.

Finally, take the mixture to the freezer and wait 12 hours, ideally leaving it overnight.

After waiting this time, remove it from the freezer and it's ready for consumption!

Also, if you prefer, you can add other fruits. Thus, creating different combinations of flavored waters for daily consumption.
