Last Monday (28) a ceremony was held in Brasília, which awarded the “Aviação + Brasil 2022” for the best airports and airlines in Brazil, according to the opinion of passengers. Thus, punctuality, accessibility and user satisfaction, among other criteria, were analyzed. Floripa Airport, which is located in the capital of Santa Catarina, was awarded as the best airport in Brazil, according to the opinion of its users.

The project is an idea of the Ministry of Infrastructure (MInfra), through the National Secretariat of Civil Aviation, and the National Commission of Airport Authorities (Conaero). The award was created in 2015, but in 2021 it did not take place due to the pandemic.
In total, 61 airports and five airlines were analyzed, in more than 50,000 interviews with users throughout Brazil. The Passenger Satisfaction Survey conducted by SAC/MInfra also analyzed 94 accessibility, and also 923,000 landings and takeoffs to verify the punctuality. Punctual flights are those that depart up to 15 minutes before or after the stipulated time.
The national secretary of Civil Aviation, Ronei Saggioro Glanzmann, said that 92% of respondents analyzed the Brazilian national airports as good or excellent, and 85% of regional airports also as good or excellent.
