The Secretary of Education (Seduce) from São Paulo, in a work carried out with the Foundation for the Development of Education (FDE), stated which, since last year, has been distributing around 3 million school kits for 2023. In all, the investment in this program is around more than R$ 100 million.

“Adequate and efficient, that is, schools directly receive the material for distribution to students, which facilitates and speeds up the logistics, making the student receive in the first days of the year academic”, informed. “The material is an important support for the development of classes and activities necessary for the construction of knowledge. It ensures equity and enables a much safer return to school for our children and young people.”
The distribution reaches all 5,300 school institutions belonging to the state. According to vice-principal Castro Bueno, of the Professora Lucia de Castro Bueno State School, located in Taboão da Serra, 684 kits were delivered to students in the final years of elementary school (6th to 9th grade).
“The kit at this school has a direct impact, mainly on student learning and on alleviating families’ budgets”, informed the deputy director.
The vice-principal communicated that the students will receive the kits until the first day of class. Thus, they will have complete autonomy for handling the material.
Kits for elementary school are made up of pens, pencils, notebooks, colored pencils, crayons, scissors, totaling 32 units intended for use in the classroom. For the high school, there are 26 units, with university notebooks, pens and other objects needed for everyday school life.
