Last Friday, February 3, the state network of education of São Paulo resumed classes in the public school system. In 5,300 educational institutions, around 3.3 million students started the 2023 school year. This time, classes will be fully face-to-face after the period of removal due to the pandemic, without the need for restrictions.

To the strategies schools, made annually before the start of classes, took place between the 1st and the 2nd of February. The goals were about the first six months of the school's activity, with the period dated to end only on June 30, when there will be a rest period in the middle of the year. Every school functioning needs goals and strategies so that the year succeeds in the best way that the institution can present.
The July recess will be from the 3rd to the 24th of July. The last day of vacation will also be used so that professors can set goals and strategies for the second half of the year, as was done in the first days of February. Therefore, July classes resume on the 25th, with the school year ending on December 15th, as indicated in the calendar.
School kits were delivered, arranged by the state government, so that everyone can have the basics to start the school year. Between notebooks, pens, pencils and the necessary, the students received them on the first day of class. So that students could have access to the materials, the state's investment counted with an amount greater than R$ 122 million for all students in the public school system.
