On the TikTok app, there was a trend that went viral and addressed the value of some rare coins. One of the ones that most caught the attention of viewers was the rare 1 real coin from 1998 that has a “P” in the part identified as “crown”, where its value is printed.
This “P” corresponds to proof of stamp, that is, it is an example of a coin officially produced in coinage workshops, but not intended for circulation. As it is a stamp-proof coin, it is not known exactly how many copies were issued, and in some cases, it could be a single piece. According to a study by collectors, this rare 1 real coin can be worth up to 10,000 reais.
