The interface was designed in recent months, when Google made some changes to the design of applications, such as the Play Store and Google Chat.
The change consisted of users having a sophisticated navigation experience, with changes in the positioning of the buttons and a new tab just for the “Memories” window.
Thus, it is possible to notice that the reformulation in the lower bar brought changes in the functions.

The access bar for “Photos”, “Memories” and “Library”, brought an extra icon: the “Magnifying glass” on the right side to search your photos. The “Memories” area gains a dedicated place to categorize by date.
And there were more changes: the Google Photos logo now occupies the left side at the top of the screen. Did you notice this change?
Update your application and notice the difference in the bottom bar, which has been replaced by a floating bar with the buttons for “Photos”, “Memories”, “Library” and “Search”. At Memory, the user will see a fully updated, vertical scrolling feed separated by date.
