In this sense, some people, such as single mothers or heads of household, were benefiting from the double amount, that is, R$ 1,200. The others received installments of R$ 600. However, with the end of the Emergency Aid, these people stopped being benefited and became helpless, facing difficulties again.
Thinking about this situation of vulnerability that some Brazilians are facing again, it was proposed the creation of the permanent help for single mothers.
The project is still pending in the Chamber of Deputies and was proposed by former deputy Assis Carvalho (PI). Given this, a series of reasons are taken into account for the project to be approved. Among them, we can mention the budget, the electoral law and the processing time.
As this is an election year, the creation of social benefits is not allowed so that candidates do not benefit from public funds to get votes.
Apparently, Caixa Econômica Federal will be the public bank that will make transfers to mothers benefiting from the aid.
