Attention beneficiaries with final NIS 9: new Bolsa Família is now available

The April installment of the new Bolsa Família will be paid to beneficiaries with a Social Registration Number (NIS) at the end of 9 by Caixa Econômica Federal this Thursday (27). This month, the federal government's income transfer program will reach 21.2 million families, with expenditures of R$ 13.9 billion, which makes it the largest in the program's history.

With the new additional BRL 150 for families with children up to 6 years old, the minimum amount corresponds to BRL 600, and the average value of the benefit rises to BRL 670.49, the highest average ever recorded.

In April, Bolsa Família broke its record for average benefit value, which rose to R$670.49 thanks to an additional R$150 allocated to 8.9 million children, totaling R$1.33 billion. According to the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, this month, 21.2 million families will receive a total of R$ 13.9 billion in cash transfers.

This month's novelty was the unification of payment on the first day of the calendar, which benefited all affected families. by the rains in São Paulo, Espírito Santo, Acre and those affected by the drought in Rio Grande do Sul, and also the peoples yanomami.

In order to prevent fraud, the payment of the additional BRL 150 of Bolsa Família began in March, after a detailed review of the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico). In June, the additional R$ 50 per pregnant woman, per child aged 7 to 12 and per adolescent aged 12 to 18 will be paid.

In the traditional Bolsa Família model, payment takes place in the last ten business days of each month. To check information about payment dates, the amount of the benefit and the composition of the installments, the beneficiary can use the Caixa Tem app.

Following the Bolsa Família schedule, the Gas Aid will be paid this Thursday to families registered in the Single Registry with final NIS 9, with the amount of R$110 in April.
