The month of April will present some astronomical events interesting. Various phenomena will happen, from the Pink Moon to a meteor shower.
Astronomical phenomena are observable events in the universe involving celestial bodies such as stars, planets, moons, comets and meteors. These phenomena can be natural or artificial, and some of them can be predicted and regularly observed.

Astronomical phenomena include, among others, solar and lunar eclipses, planetary transits, meteor showers, supermoons, aurora borealis and the passage of comets through the solar system. Some of these events are visible to the naked eye, while others require special equipment such as telescopes, binoculars or cameras.
6/4 – Full Moon (Pink Moon)
The Pink Moon is an astronomical phenomenon that occurs once a year, when the Full Moon in April coincides with the Moon's closest approach to Earth in its elliptical orbit.
This was the first Supermoon of the year and is so named because it historically coincides with the flowering of the Phlox subulata, a pink flowering plant found in North America.
According to G1, it was possible to see the moon from 1:37 in the morning.
4/16 – Moon-Saturn Conjunction
The Moon-Saturn conjunction occurs when the Moon and Saturn appear close to each other in the night sky, as seen from Earth. You need to get up early to witness the phenomenon: the pair will rise together, to the east, around 3 am and will be visible until dawn.
04/20 – Hybrid solar eclipse
Also known as an annular-total eclipse, it is a rare type of solar eclipse that occurs when the Moon is at a position farthest from Earth. It will take place on the 20th of April and will last about a minute. Furthermore, it will form a bright ring around the Sun and the total eclipse will happen halfway through.
4/23 – Peak of the Lyrid meteor shower
A large meteor shower will be active between April 15th and 29th, reaching its peak between the 22nd and 24th. It will be more intense in the Northern Hemisphere, where up to 20 meteors can be seen per hour, while in Brazil this number should be around 10.
4/23 – Moon and Venus Conjunction
The Moon and Venus conjunction occurs when these two celestial bodies appear close to each other in the night sky, as seen from Earth.
This event is relatively common, as both the Moon and Venus are bright objects that can be easily seen with the naked eye. It will take place around 6 pm, with the sky still illuminated by the last rays of sunlight.
25/04 – Conjunction Moon, Mars and Venus
On this day, the planet will be visibly next to the satellite in reddish color from 18:30 and 20:00. The best observation of the phenomenon will happen when the sky darkens.
