How is the Civil Engineering course?

The Civil Engineering course belongs to the area of ​​Exact Sciences and has an average duration of five years. Its schedule also includes subjects on technical design, administration and economics. What does the Civil Engineer do?

In short, the civil engineer is the professional who takes care of the planning, management and execution of works in general.   • hydraulics and water resources: dam, reservoir, canal, irrigation, coastal and drainage works
  • urban construction: buildings, facilities, shopping mall, stadiums, airports and industries
