MEC provides free material for early childhood education teachers

There are nine free notebooks to help teachers explore how children learn.

O National Literacy Program at the Right Age (PNAIC) made available a series of free materials so that early childhood education teachers can improve their teaching skills.

The main focus of the federal government program is to teach literacy in Portuguese and Mathematics, up to the 3rd year of Elementary School, to all Brazilian children.

Within this project, professionals in the field of education can receive ongoing training, with a focus on literacy for children. Nine free notebooks were made available to help teachers interested in exploring how children learn. The responsibilities of teachers in the classroom and how to deal with families are also discussed in the material.

The work of a kindergarten teacher, especially in the early years, combines child care with early learning experiences, and these training notebooks provide instruction in all these areas.
