A Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) has a new notice published to fill 1,175 vacancies remaining from previous selection processes. Opportunities will be allocated to 35 undergraduate courses offered on the four campuses of the institution.
The ticket will meet the modalities of Diploma Holder, Change of Course, Optional Transfer and Re-entry. And how does each modality work? The change of course is intended for students enrolled in an undergraduate course at FURG, as long as they have not made two changes since joining.

The holder of a diploma includes candidates who have already graduated and wish to enroll in another course at the institution. Re-entry includes former FURG students who have been disconnected from the institution, due to abandonment or by request, for a period not exceeding five years and who intend to return to their course.
Finally, the optional transfer is intended for students enrolled in graduations from other institutions. The graduations covered by the 2019/1 notice are offered on four FURG campuses – Rio Grande, Santa Vitória do Palmar, Santo Antônio da Patrulha and São Lourenço do Sul.
The course with the highest number of vacancies offered is Agroindustrial Engineering. Held in Santo Antônio da Patrulha, the graduation offers 122 opportunities in the four modalities. On the same campus, comes the second place – Degree in Exact Sciences, with 116 vacancies.
Candidates will be selected through analysis of the academic record presented, including the syllabus. The criteria for evaluation are expressed in the announcement. Entries can be made until November 28th by completing an electronic application available at institution selection website.
According to the schedule made available in the public notice, the preliminary result will be announced on the probable date of January 28, 2019. Enrollments in the respective units will take place between the 22nd and 25th of February, at the addresses informed in the regulation. The dates include the periods of registration and enrollment in the available disciplines.
