Green-throated Hummingbird

This bird has an unusual ability: it tends to fly backwards. This is only possible thanks to their short and flexible bones, which allow their wings to move in all directions.

It measures between 8.5 and 11 centimeters in length. Despite its small size, it is only intimidated by larger hummingbirds. Both of its kind and smaller ones, it faces aggressively.

To feed, it visits flowers from bushes, vines and isolated trees, but it also adapts to urban environments. He often visits the little bottles of sugar or flowers in backyards and balconies.

Available in:. (With cut and adaptation).
