Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the intelligent panels at the interactive bus stops are true all-rounders.
During the day, they act as advertising billboards, broadcasting relevant messages and advertisements to passers-by. However, it is during the night that these panels reveal their true magic. Learn more below!
With features such as 5G internet, Full HD night cameras, microphone and touchscreen, the futuristic bus stops offer a unique experience for passengers.
When noticing the presence of someone alone at the bus stop, the panel displays a welcoming message: “Do you need company until the bus arrives?”.
This simple question is the gateway to an engaging interaction.

If the user is interested, they can tap the phone icon and start a video call with a company attendant.
Such functionality not only offers a virtual companion, but also manages to act as a security resource, activating the police in cases of emergency.
While technology is the star of the show, the main focus of the “Guarded Bus Stop” is the well-being of passengers, especially women and those who find themselves in deserted places at night.
During the tests in Campinas, receptivity was remarkable, with an average of 150 calls per night at the five test points.
The initiative won rave reviews, with many passengers identifying with the idea of a virtual companion while waiting for public transport.
