The partnership will take place with Purdue University, in Indiana, through public notice 19/2023. Thus, CAPES will select up to five scholarship holders to experience the study outside the country for the Full Doctorate in Agriculture.

The activities are scheduled to start in August 2024, and each contemplated student will receive financial support of up to US$50,300 per year. The course may be extended for up to five years, allowing researchers to fully dedicate themselves to studies and research.
Fields of study are diverse and wide ranging, focusing on areas such as digital agriculture, energy and plant sciences, with an emphasis on phenotyping, genetics, soil sciences, precision agriculture, genomics, proteomics and metabolomics, as well as harvest and post-harvest sciences, and restoration and conservation forestry.

During the first phase, you are supposed to face four evaluation stages: technical and merit analyses, prioritization and preliminary decision by the Foundation. After this phase, recommended candidates must complete the application at Purdue University page, paying a fee of US$ 75.00.
