Attention, contestants! If you dream of getting a job at Civil police (PC) of your state in 2023, you can now start preparing. More than 4,000 vacancies are expected in the coming months of this second half, with the following distribution: São Paulo (3,500 vacancies), Pernambuco (445 vacancies), Pará (237 vacancies), Santa Catarina (60 vacancies) and Ceará (still to define).
In addition, four other states already have public tenders with more, approximately, a thousand vacancies. They are: Federal District (740 vacancies in the administrative area), Mato Grosso do Sul (400 investigator vacancies) and unlisted vacancies in Tocantins and Maranhão.

The public notice with more than 3,500 vacancies for the Civil Police of São Paulo should be published later this month of August. The document should have already been presented to the public last month, but adjustments in the contract with the bank, the Vunesp Foundation, delayed this disclosure. The announcement will have the following tasks:
3rd class police investigator: 1,250 vacancies and salaries of R$ 5,879.68.
3rd class police clerk: 1,333 vacancies and salaries of R$ 5,879.68.
3rd class medical examiner: 116 vacancies and salaries of R$ 12,954.40.
3rd class criminal expert: 249 vacancies and salaries of R$ 12,954.40.
3rd class Police Chief: 552 vacancies and salaries of R$ 15,037.99.
All vacancies require higher education.
In Pernambuco, the expectation is that the announcement will have 445 vacancies for higher level positions. The examining board has not yet been hired, but the authorizing ordinance has already been published in the Official Gazette.
There will be 45 vacancies for delegate, 250 for agent and 150 for clerk. Although all of them require a university degree, only the delegate degree determines that the candidate has a bachelor's degree in law and has had legal practice for at least three years. In addition, applicants are required to have National driving licenseat least in category B.
With regard to wages, no information has yet been disclosed by the government of Pernambuco.
The Government of Pará is going to hold a new contest for the Civil Police with 237 vacancies. The expectation is that the notice will be released as soon as possible, later this year. The examining board is being chosen and there is still no definition of salary ranges.
The positions have already been announced by the Secretary of Planning and Administration of Pará and will cover the police and administrative areas:
100 vacancies for clerk;
137 distributed to various administrative servers.
O contest for the Civil Police of Santa Catarina was authorized in June of this year. However, it still awaits the hiring of the examining board.
Initially, there will be 60 vacancies, distributed among delegates and police psychologists. Expected salaries are R$ 18,866.40 and R$ 8,777.40, respectively.
There is also a forecast that a new contest will be held in 2024 for the positions of agent and scrivener.
According to the governor of Ceará, Elmano de Freitas, new public tenders for the State Security Forces will be announced in September this year.
