The range of options includes Web Programming, Robotics, Basic Computing, Game Development in Python with PyGames and Object Oriented Programming.
This initiative is part of the extension program entitled “Flues of Bits”, promoted by Cefet-MG. It has the central objective of building and strengthening fundamental values, such as management capacity.
In doing so, the program offers courses that can be accessed virtually, allowing participants to explore and improve their technology skills in a convenient and affordable way.
The courses not only provide valuable knowledge, but also offer the opportunity to earn a certificate, validating the successful completion of the studies.
In total, 330 vacancies are available for those interested in participating in this educational initiative. To theregistrations are open until the 25th of August, giving a deadline for students from the public school system to apply and have access to this rich set of opportunities.
The chance to participate in these free online courses is aimed at students enrolled in the public school system, with a minimum age group corresponding to the age specified in each course. But the minimum age required to participate is 12 years.

Another novelty that is also of great value: those who meet the requirements have the possibility to enroll in more than one course among the options offered.
However, it is important to point out that, if they are selected for more than one course, enrollment will only be made in the course in which they were drawn.
The dynamics of student selection follows a drawing process, in case there is an excessive number of candidates interested in a certain course.
Enrolled applicants compete on an equal footing, with everyone being offered a fair opportunity to be selected for the course of their choice.
