Zoo Brights recently held a celebration with the arrival of a new giraffe into the world. However, this was no ordinary giraffe.

On July 31st, when the baby giraffe touched the ground at the zoo, everyone was surprised. This giraffe was born without the traditional spots, which, after the long neck, is the main characteristic of these iconic animals.

This young giraffe is the result of one of these curious genetic mutations. Believe it or not, the last time a spotless giraffe appeared in our world was in 1972, in Tokyo, and was affectionately named Toshiko.
