The vast majority of frogs, in fact, feed on small insects. However, there are species that are not content with eating mosquitoes like the frog in the cartoon. This is because the type of food these animals eat is influenced by the way they hunt and the size of their mouth. As they do not chew their food – on the contrary, they swallow it whole! –, frogs have the size of their mouth proportional to the size of their prey. And there are frogs with mouths, which allow them to eat animals considered large!
