Characters from Brazilian folklore are the main suspects in this intriguing and fun detective adventure.
Even on their days off, detectives Billy Conrado and Honaldo, with agá, have no rest. A man disappears on the outskirts of the inn where they are staying, and it's up to them and police officer Lucineide Guarabira to find out what happened.
In your search for answers, several water creatures cross your path. Some promise to cooperate; others, like the disgusting Ipupiara, who is capable of eating an entire human being, and Caboclo d’Água, who drowns fishermen with his deadly embrace, seem to have other intentions!
With his dynamic and humorous writing, Alexandre de Castro Gomes builds an investigation full of twists and turns. Cris Alhadeff's drawings and collages, which present the characters and their criminal records, bring the reader even closer to the myths of Brazilian popular culture, transforming them into active agents in the case.
