In a video shared on TikTok, Dr. Sethi shed light on the dangers this seemingly harmless practice can bring.
“First, using your phone while on the toilet can cause you to sit for a long time, causing tension and pressure in the rectum and anus,” warned the expert.
“This can lead to problems such as hemorrhoids, anal fissures and even rectal prolapse”, he adds.
