A new change to Google Calendar for Android has a new function: you can now create links to share your events. The URL can be sent to anyone with the meeting details.

Thus, the option will be available on the app creation screen. Anyone who has a Google account will receive the share automatically, marking the date quickly and easily on the calendar.

However, it is worth highlighting: Google makes it clear that all links that are shared in this way will be considered by the platform as “public” – but their titles will not be able to be located by the Search Engine.

How to share links via Google Calendar?

To perform the function, you will have to look for the “Share” option on the application’s home screen. After that, the link will be sent directly by email. Whoever has the account, as we said above, will be able to accept it quickly.

All links that are shared will become part of the selected people's calendar. All links will only be deactivated when it is removed from the platform – so you need to be careful when sharing it.

Is the functionality already available?

According to the 9to5Google portal, responsible for sharing the information, all the news will still be distributed little by little. Therefore, it is expected that it is possible that you may not receive the update immediately.

But they recommend that the platform be updated frequently to receive the functionality as soon as it is available.
