This possible logical slip intrigues fans of 'The Lord of the Rings'; understand

“Lord of the Rings” is an epic fantasy saga set in Middle-earth, a magical world inhabited by elves, dwarves, hobbits and incredible creatures.

The plot revolves around the One Ring, a relic of unimaginable power that must be destroyed to prevent it from falling into the hands of the evil Dark Lord, Sauron.

Scientists discover planet that “shouldn’t exist”

Frodo Baggins, a humble hobbit, begins the journey to take the One Ring to Mount Doom, where it must be annihilated.

Accompanied by a diverse group of companions, including Gandalf and Aragorn, Frodo faces deadly dangers, epic battles and thrilling challenges.

The narrative highlights themes such as friendship, bravery and the fight against the forces of darkness. Each scene reveals stunning landscapes, fascinating cultures and memorable characters.

In that sense, this is a real masterpiece cinematographic and literary that captivates readers with its magic, depth and wisdom across generations. However, one fact has taken fans of the work seriously!

It turns out that, despite the conclusion being presented two decades ago and the work having won 11 Oscars, fans still debate a pointless question in Peter Jackson's film.

Logical slip in “The Lord of the Rings”?

A scene in Minas Tirith (one of the story's fictional locations) leaves fans of the extended version of “The Lord of the Rings” perplexed. In it, Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and Pippin (Billy Boyd) confront the Witch King Nazgûl, who destroys the wizard's magical staff.

This occurs only so that, at the end of the film, when leaving towards the Gray Havens, the wizard magically recovers his staff.

Consequently, this raises the intriguing question of how this logical slip-up went unnoticed by Peter Jackson's team.

After all, is there any explanation for this discrepancy? The good news is that for those who only know the “original” version of the third film, the problem narrative is non-existent, as it is exclusive to the extended edition, with an additional hour of content.

Therefore, for most, such inconsistency does not pose a problem. However, many fans are aware of this scene and enjoy both versions of the work.
